Aug, 07 2019Edwin Toth5Memorial Day Services are held at Fountain Square. The monument was erected in the late 1950's on land donated my Miss Henrietta Sharp to the best of my knowledge. Prior to granite monument there was a Memorial Board at the Old Newville School with list of service members and gold stars for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for there country. I remember seeing this board when I was a child.
